Christmas party menus across both Wagtail and Aviary’s restaurants include canapes such as ‘Breaded Brie and Cranberry Relish’ and a ‘Roast Beef and Horseradish Cream Crostini, and larger bites such as ‘Baked Cod with Chorizo and Corn; alongside classic cocktails and fine wines to complement. The dinner menu features ‘Pressed Barbary Duck Terrine, Smoked Duck Breast, Cranberry Relish, Sourdough Crisps’ followed by mains featuring a Traditional Turkey Dinner as well as twists such as ‘Slow Cooked Welsh Lamb Shoulder with Creamed Mashed Potatoes, Braised Red Cabbage and Minted Lamb Jus’ and ‘Roast Celeriac with Wild Mushrooms, Cavolo Nero and a Chestnut Sauce’. Curated to perfection by Head Chef Rafael Liuth, The Jugged Hare will serve up classic dishes with a twist such as ‘Kiln Roast Scottish Salmon, Cucumber, Crème Fraîche, Dill, Soda Bread’, ‘Wild Suffolk Red Deer Haunch, Venison’, ‘Shepherd’s’ Croquette, Spiced Red Cabbage, Celeriac, Sprout Tops, Game Jus’, and for the veggies, ‘Chestnut, Quinoa & Root Vegetable Bake, Roast Potatoes, Sprout Tops, Carrots, Gravy’ as well as Traditional Turkey of course.
